About Me

As a therapist Isense deeply that our human experience is, at its root, relational. We’re in constant relationship with ourselves, our surroundings, our past and imagined futures, and of course with each other. It's here in our most intimate person-to-person bonds, however, that I believe we experience our most meaningful and transformational moments. Our relationships are the stages on which we live out so many parts of ourselves—our values, our cherished dreams, our unspoken fears. It’s my privilege to walk with you through this tender landscape, holding the fullness of each person and helping you find that fullness in each other.

Therapy with me is a creative, compassionate, and authentically collaborative journey. Drawing from humanistic traditions as well as mind-body and expressive techniques, I’m here to join you in exploring what’s getting in the way of the connection you desire, and to help you reconnect with the life you want to live. My couples work is based in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), an evidence-based, experiential approach that helps people understand recurring patterns and rebuild trust, connection, and new ways of feeling and being together. My deepest hope is to create a space where you both feel valid, safe, and empowered—and where parts of the relationship that have been buried, overlooked, or silenced can eventually find voice.

My Specialties

My current focus is on working with couples in weekly therapy, specifically using the Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) model. Other areas of significant clinical training and practice that inform this work are in the expressive art therapies (writing, visual art, and embodied techniques), as well as Brainspotting, a neuroexperiential trauma treatment modality.
