About Me
My core belief as a therapist is that our relationships are central to how we make meaning our experiences, and foundational to how we create our preferred lives. This includes the therapeutic relationship.
I work primarily with couples and individuals navigating their relationship to sex and sexuality because it is a core element of the human experience that often shapes all other aspects of life. In centering couples work, I recognize that improving relational bonds creates long term personal and collective wellbeing that individual work alone cannot achieve. My treatment approach is holistic and systems-oriented, which allows couples to improve their ability to connect, communicate, and understand the stories underlying the cycles of conflict in their relationships.
My Specialties
I am currently training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), the gold standard of relationship therapy. I specialize in cases where one or more members of a relationship are a member of the LGBTQ+ community, have a history of trauma, or navigate a complex relationship to sexuality. My training in Sex Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and relational trauma therapy also inform my clinical practice.
